If you have enough scrolls, I recommend letting each of your characters carry one, just in case you need to pull off an emergency resurrection in battle. This will bring them back to life with 20% of their maximum HP. To resurrect a dead character, simply assign the Resurrection scroll to the hotbar of any of your characters, click on it to activate it, then click on the character you want to revive. Scrolls can also be bought from vendors, with the earliest ones appearing at Fort Joy.
When you’re starting out in the game, you will be able to find Resurrection scrolls all throughout the world. There’s no permadeath setting at play here, so you will be able to revive them if the need arises. However, don’t worry if this does happen. Whether you make a miscalculated move, or you’re outplayed by the enemy AI, you will inevitably have one of your characters die.
